Second, it depends on bothe the size of the birthmark that is to be removed and where it is located on your body.

Third, costs vary by location - you are likely to pay less in a rural area than a city, and more in certain areas of the country than others.

The general range will be as low as $300, or as much as $2500 or more for complete birthmark removal, depending on the method used and the size of the area to be treated.

Again, a cost figure should be obtained in your interview with a cosmetic surgeon or dermatologist, and it should contain all associated costs including home care.

The risks of birthmark removal includes bleeding, infection and scarring. The more troublesome of these, obviously, is scarring because the whole reason you wanted the peocedure is to remove an unwanted belmish, not to replace it with another. You should talk to your cosetic surgeon about these risks, and the chances they will happen. He or she can also tell you if they are fixable using skin grafts or other procedures.
